Ada County expands early voting locations; 200,000 expected to cast their ballots

Beginning Monday, Ada County will be adding two more full-time early voting locations.

All four early voting locations will be open to voters leading up to the November 8th Presidential Election.

Ada County residents may vote at any of the early voting locations Ada County Elections now offers. “We’re anticipating that as many as 200,000 people to vote during the upcoming election. Early voting provides a convenient alternative to waiting in line Election Day,” said Ada County Chief Deputy Clerk Phil McGrane.

In addition to the new locations, Ada County has also adjusted its early voting hour. McGrane said. All locations will be open until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Early voting will be available beginning October 17th and will end at 5 p.m. on November 4th.

Voters not registered in advance can register and vote at each of the locations by bringing a photo ID and proof of residence. 

The Ada County early voting locations are:

-Boise City Hall at 150 N Capitol Blvd, Boise. (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

-Meridian City Hall at 33 E Broadway Ave, Meridian. (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

-Eagle Senior Center at 312 E. State St, Eagle.(Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

-Ada County Elections office at 400 Benjamin Ln, Suite 100, Boise. (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
