BOISE — The body of a Boise man who was reported missing last weekend has been recovered from Arrowrock Reservoir, according to Elmore County Undersheriff Greg Berry.
The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Rudy Cedillo.
Authorities say they received a call about 7:45 p.m. Saturday of the missing man “But cell phone service up there is real spotty. All we were told was that there was a man missing near Arrowrock Reservoir,” Berry said.
Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, Elmore County Search and Rescue, Boise County Sheriff’s Office deputies, and the divers from Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office helped in the search.
Berry said Cedillo was found in the backwater, in an area where the Boise River feeds into the Reservoir, about 4 p.m. Sunday.
No additional details were available.
The incident is still under investigation.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death is pending.
