Many people in the community of Burns, Oregon say they are pleased the standoff with militia members at an area wildlife refuge is over.
Community members -- both those who supported the militia members' efforts and those who opposed them -- say they are glad the tense situation has come to an end.
The entire incident lasted nearly six weeks, drawing the attention of the nation to the small, rural town.
