Hollywood stuntman Eddie Braun posted on his facebook page Monday that he plans to jump the Snake River Canyon on Saturday, September 17th.
The launch site is just east of the Hansen Bridge. Braun says he plans to take off from the north side of the Snake River Canyon rim and plans to land on the south side.
Braun, with help from Scott Truax and his crew, says they will fire up a 10,000-steam powered rocket named “Evel Spirit,” similar to the same one daredevil motorcyclist Evel Knievel climbed into –- and made an unsuccessful Canyon jump with –- back in 1974.
