SHOSHONE, Idaho (AP) -- One of three teens charged with sexually assaulting a classmate in a southern Idaho high school locker room was arraigned in court on Friday.
The 16-year-old is charged with felony forcible penetration by use of a foreign object. The Times-Newsnewspaper in Twin Falls reports that many of the court documents in the case have been sealed, but according to the limited information available prosecutors claim the 16-year-old used a coat hanger during the Oct. 22 assault.
Dietrich school officials sent a letter to parents last November saying that allegations had been made of "wrongdoing between students" and that the school was fully cooperating with law enforcement.
The Associated Press generally does not release the names of juveniles charged with crimes or the names of sexual assault victims.
