Meridian man dies after floating the Boise River

BOISE, Idaho — A Meridian man is dead after a medical emergency while floating the Boise River.

The Ada County Coroner says 71-year-old Donald Mclean was floating the river Monday near Parkcenter Blvd and S. Bown Way when he was transported by emergency crews.

He was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Officials have not yet named an official cause of death. Toxicology results are pending.
