The Nampa Police Department has released the name of the victim of a car fire and suspicious death from last Sunday.
Officers say the body of Videll N. Hanks, 29, of Nampa was found is the charred remains of a car at East Victory and Sugar Avenue.
Police have not determined details leading up to his death.
"This is a tragic event. The Nampa Police Department appreciates all of the support and help from the public to aid us in finding out the facts of this case,” Detective Sergeant Don Peck said. “We want to bring closure for the family of Mr. Hanks.”
The Nampa Police detectives continue to follow up on leads in this case. An autopsy was performed Monday, though the results of the autopsy are not yet known.
