Boise Police officers and Boise Fire Department crews are on the scene of a semi-trailer fire on the westbound off-ramp of the vista Interchange in south Boise.
An Ada County dispatcher supervisor says initial reports indicate the semi’s brakes somehow caught fire and ignited the trailer. No word on what the semi was carrying.
It happened about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
