Residents in a Boise foothills community are glad to have running water restored after landslide concerns prompted officials to temporary cut off service in fear of a water main snap.
Suez Water shut services off to the Terra Nativa Subdivision in order to prevent further damage to the water main.
The company was providing residents with bottled water temporarily until they were able to install an above-ground water main.
Crews were able to complete the installation Saturday and began servicing the homes Sunday.
Officials say they don't know what is causing the land to shift, but they are continuing to monitor the situation.
