A Boise woman has been charged with felony possession of marijuana following a crash along I-84 on Tuesday, March 22nd.

According to the Idaho State Police, Melanie Prince, 41, of Boise was traveling with Irven Adams, 35, of Boise eastbound near milepost 62 along I-84.

For an unknown reason, the vehicle went off the shoulder and struck a utility box.  The vehicle then went back across the lanes into the median and rolled.

Both people were not wearing seatbelts and had to be transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

After an investigation, Prince was charged with felony possession of marijuana, two counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

It is unclear who was driving at the time of the crash.

ISP is investigating.
