BOISE, Idaho — Boise State Athletics is showcasing the BroncoBOLD program this week during the men's and women's basketball games. The women host San Jose State on Wednesday and the men host New Mexico on Sunday. All four teams will have green patches on their uniforms to symbolize mental health awareness.

PacificSource is partnering with Boise State to support BroncoBOLD by matching up to $5,000 in donations to the program. Game attendees will have the opportunity to support BroncoBOLD with an in-game text-to-donate feature.

"The importance of mental health and wellbeing can never be understated, and the advances being made in prioritizing it at Boise State have been great to see," said women's basketball head coach Gordy Presnell. Our student-athletes face many demands in their lives off the playing field, and it is so important that they have the resources provided to them here to be able to successfully handle those demands."

BroncoBOLD is a Boise State student-athlete mental health initiative aimed at spreading a message of hope, help and resiliency to the campus and community. The program seeks to normalize conversations about mental health, and educate the community and campus on mental health issues and the resources available to address them.

"Boise State does such a great job in the areas of mental health and wellness," said men's basketball head coach Leon Rice. "We're cutting edge on mental health and the resources that we provide for our student-athletes. Showcasing and growing the BroncoBOLD program is a priority for us because it makes a difference in the lives of every Bronco student-athlete beyond the field of competition."
