Allie Triepke the joined Idaho News 6 team in May 2023. Since then, Allie has enjoyed telling important stories from across the valley about city council decisions, community events, crime and lots more.
Her favorite place to report from is on the sidelines of 'The Blue' at Albertsons Stadium!
After graduating from Chapman University, Allie spent a few months as an assistant producer at a news station in San Diego before deciding to pursue reporting full-time.
She found her passion for journalism in her school’s weekly newscast, Chapman News, and while writing for the sports section of The Panther, Chapman’s student newspaper. She also loved representing her alma mater as a member of Chapman’s cheerleading team.
A highlight of attending school in Orange County was getting to cheer on her hometown teams. Go Halos! Go Ducks!
Outside of work you can catch her spending time with family in Meridian, trying out a local coffee shop, going for a run on the Greenbelt, cheering on the Idaho Steelheads hockey team and serving at her church.
