CALDWELL, Idaho — In an update posted by the Caldwell Police Department, it was confirmed that the area to avoid was now confined to the intersection of Linden and S. Georgia Ave. Officers are still on the scene to direct traffic as Intermountain Gas Company repairs the lines.
The neighborhood in the area of Cleveland Blvd and S. Georgia Ave in Caldwell is being evacuated after a car crash caused a gas leak. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
The evacuation was reported at 2:17 pm on May 14, Caldwell Police are responding to the scene at this time.
