MERIDIAN — Officials say surveillance footage caught two females and one male stealing from lockers at the South Meridian Family YMCA. Police say the suspects entered the YMCA located at 5155 S. Hillsdale Avenue and were observed loitering in and around the locker rooms. According to police, one female acted as the lookout while the other two subjects entered into their respective locker rooms ultimately accessing several locked lockers and taking credit cards; however, the lockers were then re-locked and the wallets were placed back to their original locations making it appear as if nothing was removed.

Police say within 30 minutes after stealing the credit cards, the suspects changed their clothing and began using the stolen credit cards at stores in and around the Boise Towne Square Mall.

The subjects were able to fraudulently purchase over $4,000 dollars in merchandise, said police. Police have determined that the subjects went to other YMCA gyms within the Treasure Valley where additional credit cards were stolen in the same manner.
