CALDWELL, Idaho — With Treefort Music Fest in town this week, a lot of people will be headed to downtown Boise to take in some loud music. However if music festivals are not your style, there's another way you can enjoy some music this week with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the Musical!
Some of you may remember that classic movie starring DIck Van Dyke and featuring a magical flying car. Thanks to a number of local businesses who donated materials, the people behind the production were able to make a replica of that famous movie vehicle, complete with special effects.
"It does all of the magical things Chitty Chitty Bang Bang does in the movie. The lights come on, the wheels turn, the wings will come out. It's pretty magical," said Annie Castiel, the director for the movie showing.
The musical opens this Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Jewett Auditorium on the College of Idaho campus and runs until Saturday, March 23. If you'd like to buy tickets, click here.
