NAMPA, Idaho — The City of Nampa is ready to start their Greenhurst Road Rebuild Project this month. This project is broken down into three phases and the first phase will begin Monday the 14th from 12th Avenue Road to South Juniper Street. The project will replace the Wilson drain culvert near 12th Avenue road and the Bray Lateral Culvert between Sunnybrook Drive and South Juniper Street. New water services and meters are scheduled to be installed for properties along the section of Greenhurst road. Utilities will be upgraded and full roadway construction will entail excavation, new gravel, new pavement, and new pavement markings.

This project will likely create high traffic and with roads facing complete closure, the City of Nampa urges anyone who travels along these roads to study the detour map to avoid any major delays, "the road will be completely closed, we want to let the community know and get the word out even more then we have.", Jeff Barnes, Deputy Public Works Director.
