15th Annual Downtown Boise Father’s Day Car Show

The 15th Annual Downtown Boise Father’s Day Car Show represents the past and future of cars and people. On June 18th from 9 to 3:30, downtown Boise will be filled with live music, classic cars, hot rods, and electric cars for a unique perspective on a traditional event. 83rd Cherry Festival

The Emmett Cherry Festival is the region’s longest continually running festival, ever since the 1930’s. The festival is always held during the second full week of June, happening in the Emmett City Park across from city hall. The festival features traditional events, concerts, and a carnival. Other celebrations and events take place throughout the community during the week of the Cherry Festival. There is an abundance of free and family-friendly activities to enjoy. There is no cost to enter the festival! The daily and nightly concerts are free as well. The contests, including the messy, but delicious, pie eating contest is free to enter. Galactic Day at Zoo Boise

Come experience a zoo in a galaxy far far away. Treasure Valley YOUTH Theater: Harriet the Spy

"Harriet the Spy" is a non-musical featuring 20 Treasure Valley area youth ages 8-14. These students have prepared for over 45 hours to present the non-musical adaptation of this beloved story about a young girl whose curiosity and desire to be the world's greatest spy gets her in a bit of trouble. Concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase. "Harriet the Spy" is presented with special permission from The Pearl Co. Literary Agency and Plays for Young Audiences. Learn Spanish: Charlamos y Creamos

Join instructors from the Boise Elementary Spanish (BES) organization for fun and interactive activities that build vocabulary and conversation skills. Catch The Wave, Tie One On For The Cure BBQ

This is an incredible fund-raising event for Bustin' Out of Boise. The mission is to “fill the gap” by helping women by providing groceries, customized in home care and transportation while going through their cancer treatment. Your event ticket includes a wonderful BBQ dinner and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be games, incredible prize packages to win, a live auction and a chance to win 2 roundtrip tickets on Alaska Airlines as well as live music by Boise’s own Blaze and Kelly. Motorfest is one of Idaho’s Largest Outdoor Motor Shows! If it has a motor, you will probably see it at this show! It’s more than a Car Show, it is a Automotive Experience! Motorfest is a proud supporter of the Boise Rescue Mission. Silver Screen on the Green

Boise Hawks Ballpark Brewfest

It’s almost time to start the Boise Hawks season. And what better way to kick it all off than with Boise Hawks Ballpark Brew Fest? The Brew Fest will include craft beer tasting from various local breweries distributors, including Boise Brewing, Sockeye Brewing, Payette Brewing, and more. Boise Pride Fest Capitol Lighting Concert

The performance is bound to be a powerful celebration of love and unity during Boise Pride weekend. Emma Arnold

Emma Arnold is a comedian, author, and beekeeper. Equal parts outrageous and charming, her comedy is thoughtful, engaging, and comes from the heart. She once followed a eulogy at the Limestone Comedy Festival, after which, Bobcat Goldthwait told her he’d never seen anyone do what she does. She has taken this as a compliment. She is the cofounder and artistic director of the 208 Comedyfest, as well as the co director for Comedyfort (part of the Treefort Festival). For more info, click here!

 

Ron Gallo with Naked Giants and The Love Bunch

Ron Gallo is the name of a Philadelphia-bred rock musician whose music embraces elements of both roots rock and garage punk, but with an abundance of smarts and passion. Ron Gallo is also the name of the band he formed when he struck out on his own after years fronting the group Toy Soldiers. Gallo got his start as a musician while still a teenager.
