TWIN FALLS, Idaho — The Twin Falls City Council will vote Monday on whether to adopt a drafted mask mandate.

The city council voted Monday (November 2) to direct city staff to draft an ordinance requiring face masks in public places. The council voted 5-2.

At the meeting, the council heard from medical experts and the local health district. The possible mask mandate comes as the Magic Valley has seen a surge in COVID-19 cases.

The mandate will receive an official vote Monday (November 9) at the council's next meeting.
