UPDATE: As of 6:30 p.m.

Idaho State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that happened on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 1:24 p.m. on Interstate 84 near mile marker 33.

A 2016 Ford F-650 truck, driven by a 20-year-old male from Kuna, swerved off the right shoulder, over corrected, and struck a 2005 Saturn Ion driven by a 26-year-old male from Notus.

Both vehicles then hit the median barrier, causing the Saturn to roll and the Ford to collide with a parked crane in a construction zone.

The driver of the Ford was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The interstate was intermittently blocked for about three hours while the scene was cleared.

The investigation is ongoing.
