The Nampa Police Department says it was a gang-related incident that closed down 11th Ave and Industrial Road on Wednesday night.
The Department says two vehicles were hit with gunfire, with one person suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
Calvin Sanchez, a 22-year-old of Nampa was identified as a person of interest and was later arrested in Caldwell today on unrelated charges.
Authorities say the Nampa shooting was an isolated incident.
Nampa Police Department are still investigating with several others being interviewed.
According to the Nampa Police, a road rage incident ended with a suspect shooting another driver on Wednesday. The adult victim does not appear to have sustained life-threatening injuries.
The incident resulted in the closure of Industrial Road from Franklin Boulevard to 11th Avenue N. Police have since located the suspect's vehicle and "involved parties are being interviewed."
Police are recommending the public avoid the area.
An investigation is ongoing.
