12th annual Idaho Youth Barbershop Festival kicking off Monday

BOISE, Idaho — This week, over 1,000 high school vocal students will take part in the 12th annual Idaho Youth Barbershop Festival.

High schools taking part in this year's festival include Meridian, Mountain View, Caldwell, Nampa, Boise, Mountain Home, and more. They'll perform Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, junior and middle school students will hit the stage for their performances. You'll see Sawtooth, Mountain Home, Les Bois, Marsing, North, Nyssa, Homedale, and Parma students on September 25.

The festival is happening at the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts, which also serves as the home of the Boise Chordsmen. Performances are Monday through Wednesday, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night. Admission and parking are free.
