BOISE, Idaho — Once again, our community has blown us away with your generosity. The numbers are in and the 14th annual Community Baby Shower is one for the record books.

Even in the middle of a pandemic, you made sure to help the youngest members of our community. Idaho News 6 partnered with Albertsons and Blue Cross of Idaho for Community Baby Shower and with your donations, five Treasure Valley education-based charities have stocked their shelves to help parents and babies for the next year.

We collected 119,000 diapers, 713 boxes of wipes, 219 pieces of clothing and blankets, and 1,305 hygiene, food and other baby items. We also asked you to use #IdahoBabies on social media and for every time the hashtag was used, Albertsons gave $10 for a total of $15,000 to the non-profits. If you still want to donate, you can head to idahonews6.com/donate until August 27 to give directly to this year's charities.

From all of us here at Idaho News 6, thank you for making this year's Community Baby Shower one we will always remember.
