17-year-old passes away following horse accident

A 17-year-old girl has died after being injured while riding a race horse near Buhl, Idaho.

Harley McDaniel, 17, was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley on Sunday, March 13th and then flown to St. Alphonsus in Boise.

Harley passed away from her injuries on Monday, March 14th.

According to the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Harley told her mother that she wished to be an organ donor.

Harley’s wishes have been granted and she will have her organs donated to other people in need following her death.

Harley’s mother, Mary Taylor, said in a statement to “love and hug your kids every chance you can.”
