BOISE, Idaho — Two Idaho House Minority staff members received positive COVID-19 test results Thursday. The staff members were tested for the virus earlier in the week.
After the results came in, one immediately left the Statehouse to isolate, according to a news release. The other was only in the Capitol on Tuesday morning and will stay home to isolate.
The release says both people followed social distancing guidelines and wore face masks, in line with protocols established by the Minority Party for both the House and Senate. All areas where the staff members worked are being sanitized.
The Minority Party has arranged for additional COVID-19 testing opportunities through next Monday.
