BOISE, Idaho — If you are still looking for plans on New Year's Eve, you can celebrate the "Idaho way" at the seventh annual Idaho Potato Drop in at the Capitol building in downtown Boise.
The festivities start Tuesday at 3 p.m. with a wrestling event, live music, a beer garden and a ski and snowboarding exhibition. If you are wanting to kick off the new year with a healthy start, you can join in on the Idaho Potato Drop 5K.
The Giant GlowTato will be lifted at 6 p.m. and will drop to a firework display to ring in the new year.
