CALDWELL, Idaho — A group called 42 Crew, which is made up of spouses of Caldwell police officers, is holding a back-to-school supply drive.

Their goal is to help out parents and the Caldwell School District by donating school supplies that students will need for a successful school year.

They are collecting items such as crayons, notebooks, and pencils for students. One thing they are hoping to receive is thumb drives to help students who will be remote learning.

They also are gathering hand sanitizer, masks, and other cleaning products for classrooms.

Members of 42 Crew say this is a perfect way for them to give back to the community and help take some off the stress of back-to-school shopping with COVID-19.

"We are shooting big to donate to as many schools as we can, but it depends on the number of donations that we get, to where the donations will be going, but we're shooting big and trying to get as many places as we can," member of 42 Crew, Bianca Stevenson says.

If you want to make a donation or drop off some supplies, you can find their table in the Caldwell Police Department's lobby. The last day to donate is August 20th.
