BOISE, Idaho — The 22nd annual A Chefs' Affair event is happening on September 19 from your own kitchen. The fundraising event for the Idaho Foodbank is a little different this year with participants picking up gourmet food boxes and preparing specialty dishes at home.
"We're trying to teach people to be their own chef at home, so we want the creativity of The Chef's Affaire they get here, but we also don't want to make it so difficult that nobody enjoys doing it at home."
The boxes cost $175 per couple and the online event starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday. People will be able to pick up their food boxes at The Idaho Foodbank warehouse located at 3562 S TK Avenue in Boise.
There will be a live auction during the virtual event. Items available to bid on include:
- Napa Valley Epicurean Adventure
- Virtual Cooking Class for 10
- Punta Mita Mexico Trip & Personal Chef
- Albertsons Catered Holiday Party
