If you enjoy cookies and supporting a good cause then you would love RoRo’s Cookies. Rose Gebran, an Eagle native bakes and creates unique custom cookies out of the comfort of her cozy kitchen. Rose began selling her cookies about a year ago and has made $8,000…but has donated every single cent to charity, “my parents struggled you know and they didn't have the help they needed” which is why Rose says she decided to “pay it forward”, “for so long, I've been wanting to give back, give back to the community, to go volunteer you know go play my part in this universe”.

Like most working moms, Rose wanted a hobby she loved, that would not take time away from her kids, “yes, I’m a mom, but I’m also a person… I wanted something to call my own”. Thanks to her children she found baking, “it was through- it was because of my children, just wanting to bake all their birthday cakes, desserts, and cookies”.

From a mother to a mother, Rose encourages all moms longing to find something to call their “own” to not stress, “you’ll find your place and when the idea comes to you don't wait for the idea to become perfect just start and do it”.

Recently, Rose competed in a holiday baking show for the Food Network. Her episode aired Monday, December 10th. For more on Rose, you can check out her website.
