Idaho State Police responded to a semi truck vs. car accident blocking exit 29 in Caldwell this morning.
The accident involving a semi and a Ford Focus was called in just after 4 a.m. Friday morning. Homero Rosales Gallegos, 24, of Caldwell was driving westbound when Emily Regennitter, 21, of Kuna, struck the rear of the semi-trailer. Rettinger was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to St. Alphonsus in Boise.
The westbound ramp was blocked for approximately three hours while crews worked on the crash.
The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
