EAGLE, Idaho — A section of Floating Feather Road north of Eagle will be shut down until sometime next week.
This, after a water main broke Wednesday night at the intersection of Eagle and Floating Feather Roads.
“The flooding was so severe, it raised the road a couple of inches,” Ada County Highway District spokesperson Natalie Shaver said.
ACHD repair crews were on the scene most of the day Thursday.
Floating Feather Road will now be closed from Eagle Road to Edgewood Lane. Drivers will need to detour around the work by taking Edgewood to Hill Road to State Street -- then back to Eagle Road.
No word yet on what caused the break.
