BOISE, Idaho — The ACLU of Idaho is planning an event to rally against several bills involving transgender Idahoans next week. On top of the transgender youth bill, another bill seeks to ban transgender girls from school sports.
Another bill would prevent transgender people from listing their accurate gender on state identification forms.
The ACLU is teaming up with other partners to hold a "Moving Toward Freedom" rally, starting at the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial and ending at the Idaho State Capitol.
The rally is happening Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m.
