The tests ordered from the Ada County Coroner's Office will take several weeks to return. Once they are received, they will be provided to the Fremont County Coroner.
The Coroner of jurisdiction maintains the responsibility of investigation and has full decision-making authority on what cases they transport for Ada County services. Ada County offers pathology services only, by contract, for a fee for Idaho counties that do not have a facility of their own or a board-certified Forensic Pathologist on staff.
The investigation is open and ongoing, so no further information will be released by the Fremont County Coroner.
JJ and Tylee went missing in September 2019 and Lori Vallow has been in custody in Idaho since she was extradited from Hawaii in March. She is facing charges in connection with JJ and Tylee's disappearances. Chad Daybell was taken into custody in connection with the disappearances on June 9. Both Vallow and Daybell have their bail set at $1 million.
