BOISE, Idaho — Local first responders face off Fri. for the "Battle of the Badges" blood drive at Boise Towne Square Mall.
The competition is between the Boise Fire Department, Ada County Paramedics and the Ada County Sheriff's Office to help the American Red Cross receive blood donations during the holiday season.
The public can donate at the mall on behalf of the agency of their choice, and the agency with the most blood donated will be the winner.
The event wraps up at 5 p.m, but holiday shoppers can give blood on Sat. between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
