Downtown Boise' s Alive After Five summer concert series is set to feature streaming events instead of the usual in-person experience.
The 34th season begins Wednesday, June 3 with opener Deviant Kin and headliner Dustbowl Revival. The streaming events continue each Wednesday in June, featuring Bread & Circus, The Weary Times, low-fi, The Seatopians, Scars on 45, and aka Belle. Concerts will also continue through July and August.
Alive After Five merchandise, beer, wine, and water will be available to-go on The Grove Plaza starting at 4:30 p.m. each Wednesday. The concerts begin at 6 p.m. on the Downtown Boise Facebook page. You can also catch the concerts streaming on YouTube.
The Downtown Boise Association is encouraging the public to make it a night with curbside takeout from a downtown restaurant, to-go merchandise and beverages from the Alive After Five booth, and the streamed concerts from the comforts of home. Watch parties will also be available at Lucky Fins and Buffalo Wild Wings at The Grove Plaza.
Tips for Charity is returning to this year's modified Alive After Five. June's beneficiary will be Camp Rainbow Gold. Tips can be donated at the point of sale on The Grove Plaza when purchasing merchandise or beverages, via Venmo (@TipsForCharity) or on the Alive After Five page here.
This year's presenting sponsor is Connections Credit Union. For more information, click here.
