According to Allstate's 2016 Best Drivers Report, Boise's drivers are some of the best in the nation.
The report is based on a number of factors including average years between collisions and the likelihood you'll be in a collision compared to the national average.
The 10 best cities on the list: Brownsville, Texas; Kansas City; Madison, Wisconsin; Cape Coral, Florida; Boise, Idaho; Huntsville, Alabama; Port Saint Lucie, Florida; Wichita, Kansas; Olathe, Kansas; and Reno, Nevada.
The 10 worst cities on the list: San Francisco; Philadelphia; Los Angeles; Providence; Glendale, California; Springfield, Massachusetts; Washington, D.C.; Baltimore; Worcester, Massachusetts; and Boston.
Six on Your Side spoke to drivers in Boise who say, for the most part, they agree with the report's findings.
"Driving in Boise has always been a good experience, except for the amount of traffic," Bruce Green, a visitor from Santa Barbara, California, said. "Drivers are courteous; I've never had a problem with that. It's just the amount of traffic."
"We could probably use our turn signals a little more," Boise resident Nicholas Bloom said. "But, all-in-all, I do think we have some of the best drivers."
Boise has fallen in the rankings since 2015 when they were listed as number 3 in the same report.
