HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- The state Department of Justice has issued an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old Madison County girl missing since early Wednesday.

It is believed Sandy was taken from her residence in Sheridan by 60-year-old Rodney Lee Zahn -- and that they might be traveling to Billings or to Boise, Idaho.

Zahn is a registered violent offender on probation. He is a Caucasian, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 135 pounds with short brown and gray hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a Tazmanian Devil on his arm.

They are believed to be traveling in a black 1987 Ford pickup with Montana license plate 3-50558B and pulling a tan and white fifth-wheel trailer.

If you’ve seen either Moore or Zahn or know of their whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Madison County Sheriff'S Office at 406-843-5301 Or Call 9-1-1.
