Animal Days kicks off in three locations around Idaho

MERIDIAN, Idaho — Animal Days is kicking off in three locations across Idaho today. The Big D Ranch in Meridian is one of the locations participating in the event, and this is the first year it has been in the Treasure Valley. Other venues are The Burley Straw Maze and Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds.

Animal Days is a chance for local kids to see, pet and hold baby and full-grown animals. There will also be some live educational demonstrations including but not limited to dog herding, sheep shearing, horse shoeing and wool spinning .

The Meridian event runs until April 6th and will start at 10 a.m. and run through 8 p.m. each day. Admission costs nine dollars for a two hour visit. You can check out the full list of activities or other location schedules here.
