BOISE, Idaho — With Thanksgiving just a few days away, many people are already tackling their holiday shopping lists.

This weekend, dozens of local vendors set up shop at JUMP in downtown Boise to sell their specialty items at the 9th annual Wintry Market.

"We have about 70 artists of all sorts of categories: jewelers, potters, weavers, and sewers from all over the Pacific Northwest and a lot of them are from Idaho," Wintry Market co-owner Amy Pence-Brown. "We literally have over 10,000 people that come through this show; Boise loves to support their local artists!"

The market is a favorite among many returning artists.

"It was one of my first shows that I ever did as an artist and it really jump started my career," Boise watercolor artist Jennie Kilcup said. "It's been so fun this weekend because the people who have come to me in years past have been like, 'Oh, I bought your stuff here!' Just hearing that interaction from the people is just so encouraging and exciting and it just reminds you again, 'This is so much fun this is why I do it!'"
