BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons pharmacies in southern Idaho are now offering at-home COVID-19 saliva test kits. The tests, offered in partnership with Phosphorous Diagnostics, typically offer results in 72 hours or less from the time the lab gets the test.
To get a test, click here and complete a short questionnaire and request your test. A pharmacist will authenticate the information, review and order your test.
You will be contacted for payment and get a notification that your test kit is ready for pick-up or has been delivered to your address. The test cost is $139 and Albertsons is not able to bill insurance for the test, but you may be able to submit your receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you are showing COVID-19 symptoms, you are asked not to come to pick up your test. Instead, send someone else or request delivery. Complete the same collection and send it to the lab with the included prepaid next-day shipping envelope.
Your test results will be received by email or text. After getting your results, an Albertsons pharmacist will be available for questions about follow-up care.
