It's a sonic symphony like you've never heard. 15 bands, countless guitars and dozens of drums. All playing in unison.
All being conducted by one man.
"When you really kind of put it all together it's really kind of amazing what it sounds like because it's not something you've ever heard before. It's all these different qualities coming together to make one thing," said Seth Olinsky the conductor and man behind the concept.
It's called Band Dialogue 5. The artists took over a half block on grove street. Taking cues from the conductor, they speak through cymbal clashes and guitar rifts. It's a choreographed cacophony that brings the artist together.
"Rarely as guitar players do we get a chance to make this much noise at one time which is excellent," said Ben Kirby of the band Sun Blood Stories.
Some of the bands have done this before. For other's it's their first time. But as most will tell you, they're are unspoken words that happen on stage so that everyone knows what page they're on.
"Everybody here has been in bands before so you know what it's like to communicate with musicians to an extent." Said Musician Dana Bouy.
Each band may have a different background and different style. But they all have one thing in common, A passion for music, the Band Dialogue brings that passion together in perfect harmony.
"Treefort attracts a lot of pretty creative artists so I think people are pretty open minded to new experiences," explained Olinsky.
