A friend to many of us here at 6 On Your Side has passed away.
Scott Spencer has been a fixture around and above the Treasure Valley for more than two decades. Every summer for years Boiseans would pause to check out the dozens of hot air balloons that took off from Ann Morrison Park.
Scott was the founder and driving force behind the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic.
He wa diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer just last year. He was 65-years-old.
