BOISE, Idaho — A Boise restaurant is showing their support for healthcare workers. Cucina di Paolo is famously known for Betty the Washerwoman on top of their sign.
Betty is still scrubbing away, but now she is dressed up in a nurses uniform. The restaurant says they changed her clothes to appreciate all those in healthcare who are providing selfless support to our community.
The hope is people pause and continue to stay positive while recognizing the strength and courage of those continuing to work in the hospitals and clinics.
For now, Cucina Di Paolo is closed through April 8.
