BOISE, Idaho — The world's best bike movies will be showing in the City of Trees Friday, January 17. The bicycle-themed festival, "Filmed by Bike," features more than 15 films from all over the world and raises funds for the Idaho Walk Bike Alliance.

Boise's Filmed by Bike event is the largest in the nation outside of the Portland area. Last year, 697 people attended the nearly sold-out event.

Friday's showing is split into two parts, bike love and adventure shorts. The festival will be at the Egyptian Theatre in downtown. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the films start at 6:30 p.m.

The event is for all ages, but beer and wine will be available with ID. A raffle will also be happening. Attendees are encouraged to bring a metal cup or purchase or rent one at the festival. People who bring their cup will receive a raffle ticket.

If you bring hats, gloves, scarves, or socks for a donation, you will also get a raffle ticket. These items will be distributed to those in need by MaxGiving.

Tickets are 15 dollars in advance and 20 at the door. You can find more information and buy your tickets here.
