BLM Twin Falls District Fire Management hiring seasonal wildland firefighters

SHOSHONE, Idaho — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Twin Falls District Fire Management program is now hiring seasonal wildland firefighters for the upcoming fire season. Job applications are open and will be accepted until April 20. You can apply here and accepted applicants should expect to start work in a few weeks.

Pay starts at $13.32 an hour with the opportunity for overtime and hazard pay. To qualify you must be 18 years old and a legal U.S. citizen. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver license and six months general work experience. Previous fire experience is not required.

Those positions will serve as crew members on wildland fire engine crews and will perform multiple functions with the crew. Some travel is required as there are duty stations include Twin Falls, Shoshone and Burley.
