The Ada County Coroner’s Office says Michael Rolland Allen, 62, of Boise, may have drowned in the Boise River.
His body was recovered Tuesday evening from the river at Ann Morrison Park, near the Americana Blvd. entrance.
An autopsy revealed no obvious signs of trauma, according to a news release from the Coroner’s Office. “The case is being investigated as a drowning, and no foul play is suspected,” the release said.
The exact cause of death has not yet been determined, pending toxicology reports.
Those results may take several weeks.
