Bogus Basin holding job fair this Saturday

Bogus Basin to open Tubing Hill, Nordic operations this weekend

BOISE, Idaho — Bogus Basin has announced plans to hire 500 employees over the next 30 days for the 2019-20 winter season. A job fair is planned for Saturday, October 19 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the nonprofit recreation area’s downtown administrative office, located at 2600 Bogus Basin Road.

A range of full-time, part-time, weekend and holiday-only positions is available, including: ski and snowboard instructors, ski lift operators, ski patrol, mountain coaster operators, food and beverage personnel, chair riders, day care attendants, rental shop employees, and more. The starting wage for most positions has increased to $10 an hour for the 2019-20 season.

Employees receive free season passes, discounts on food & beverage, lessons, equipment rentals, as well as transportation to the mountain.

“We have opportunities for both first-time job seekers and experienced professionals who are interested in providing our guests with a fun and positive experience,” said Brad Wilson, General Manager.
