BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Bicycle Project (BBP) is collecting bikes for their 13th Holiday Bike Giveaway.
This year, over 700 kids requested their dream bicycle, a refurbished bike customized to the drawing or story they submitted.
The BBP is hoping to collect 300 more bikes before the giveaway on December 21.
Anyone with a used bicycle or bike parts can drop them off at the BBP Wed. through Sun, 11 to 6 p.m. and Tues, 6 to 8 p.m.
In addition to bicycle donations, the project is also accepting clothing and cash donations.
Volunteers are also needed to repair and pickup bikes.
For more information on donating or volunteering, visit the BBP website.
