BOISE, Idaho — Right now, Boise Fire is accepting donations to help Treasure Valley residents in need. This year, Boise Fire Department is supporting Toys for Tots and The Idaho Foodbank.
All Boise Fire Stations have donation boxes available now to drop off new, unwrapped toys and canned food. Items can be dropped off from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day. The Marines will pick up the toys on December 20.
Each fire station will also serve as collection sites for The Idaho Foodbank. Some of the most-needed items include: canned fruits and vegetables, packaged grains, pantry staples (canola or other cooking oils, whole wheat or all-purpose flour, etc.) and shelf-stable dairy (boxed or canned). Food donations will be accepted until January 1.
