BOISE, Idaho — A Boise man has died after he was pulled from Park Center Pond Thursday night.
Boise Fire officials say 31-year-old Jesse Rios was in the water for 28 minutes. Witnesses say the man went under the water around 9 p.m. near the east end of the pond.
The Boise Fire Dive Team found him and CPR was initiated after he was pulled from the water. He was then transported to a Boise hospital, where he passed away.
Officials have not yet announced an official cause of death because they are waiting for toxicology results, although police are investigating the case as a drowning.
The incident is under investigation.
