BOISE — A dedication/ribbon cutting ceremony will be held this week for the newly-renovated Boise High School 1936 Gymnasium and Performing Arts addition, Boise School District officials have announced.
The ceremony will be held Friday, May 10, at Boise High School, 1010 W. Washington St., from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Public tours will be provided from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Boise High School students, staff, community members, Boise School Board members, Boise School District Administration, architects and construction company officials are scheduled to attend. There will also be a musical presentation by the Boise High School Choir.
“This 2017 bond-supported project provides students with a new, state-of-the-art educational facility with larger classrooms, a modern gymnasium, locker rooms, a weight room, a wrestling room, more technology, and improved safety and security features to help students learn in a safe, secure and supportive environment,” said Boise School District spokesman Dan Hollar.
